About me.

GHOSTWRITER | BOOK COACH

Erica Harrison

I started my writing career 15 years ago. Over the years, I have represented the voice of countless clients, whether it was a brand message, company vision, or personal experience. I knew I had found my niche when I moved into the book ghostwriting and coaching space.

Every person has a valuable idea to share, but the act of writing itself encumbers most people from doing so—and that can be discouraging to people who have something to say. As Maya Angelou once stated, "There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you." As a professional writer, I feel compelled to remove that barrier and serve as a conduit between an author and their audience.   I choose to partner with clients who represent missions and visions that resonate with me — it's vital that I feel invested in their success.

In addition to 15 years of professional writing, my other areas of expertise have lent to countless firsthand experiences, all of which knit together nicely into the ability to uncover an author's message, adopt the author's voice, and write compelling and engaging books.

I have an educational background in health sciences and psychology, including a bachelor's degree in general psychology with postgraduate education in experimental social psychology. This means I understand your readers' psychological intricacies—how they interact with content and what keeps them engaged. It also helps me write on self-help and psychology topics with agility and ease.

I also have experience in science and medicine, including several years of undergraduate study at

Beth-el School of Nursing at the University of Colorado.   I never lost my passion for medicine. I'm a certified yoga instructor, which allows me to easily write about health and wellness topics.

I've worked with numerous CEOs and other business leaders, many of whom were in the SaaS software and technology space, so I have extensive experience writing on software and technology concepts, too.

I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where I love exploring the outdoors, enjoying the local cafes, painting, and spending time with friends and family, especially my dog. In my free time, I practice a different storytelling modality — novels.

Let’s start your book.
